CFMOTO CFORCE 625 EPS SETS THE ATV BENCHMARK

07/05/2021

Following the introduction of the Australian government’s quad bike safety standards, CFMOTO's commitment to the local ATV market remains absolute with an expanding model range.

A recent addition to the ranks is the fully optioned CFORCE 625 EPS, which is completely new from the ground up and represents incredible value – which includes the fitment of an operation protector device (OPD).

The high-spec big-bore single-cylinder ATV is bursting with standard features, including a lockable rear differential (a rare feature in the ATV category) electronic power steering, 3000-pound electric winch, 12-inch alloy wheels with 25-inch CST six-ply tyres, hand guards, tow hitch and a powerful 600W magneto.

Newly designed dual A-Arm suspension, push button-locking front differential, LED lights, an LCD dash with Bluetooth connectivity, four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and an enhanced chassis are also part of the short-wheelbase (1280mm) CFORCE 625 EPS matrix, and there’s a class-leading turning circle of 7.25 metres – no more multi-point turns when you’re in a hurry!

The CFORCE 625 EPS, available in a titanium grey livery, has a 580cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine producing 40hp and 49Nm, delivered through a CVTech transmission with engine braking.

CFMOTO ATVs are here to stay
CFMOTO isn’t going anywhere! That’s the unequivocal message from CFMOTO Australia, with the company already complying with stage two of the Consumer Goods (Quad Bike) Safety Standard requiring an OPD to be fitted to all general-use ATVs by October 11, 2021.

That means that all units sold already come fitted with a OPD made by Australian company, Quadbar. The Quadbar OPD, approved under the Quad Bike Safety Standard, is installed by your CFMOTO dealer during pre-delivery.

In addition to the OPD legislative requirements, the government has also mandated that all ATVs are tested for static stability using a tilt table test. The minimum standard to pass the lateral (sideway) stability tilt angle test is 28.81 degrees, and an independent study has revealed that all CFMOTO ATVs exceed the minimum standard.

The CFORCE 625 EPS is no exception, and easily eclipses the minimum standard at 31.1 degrees.
