2021 CFMOTO 650GT ON SALE IN TWO NEW LIVERIES

The 2021 instalment of the CFMOTO 650GT is now on sale in Australia in two new liveries: Nebula White and Midnight Black.

Versatility is the ultimate calling card for the $8490 rideaway learner-approved sports tourer, extending from the 649cc liquid-cooled parallel twin through to the flexible chassis that is equally at home leaning into endless apexes or carving out long distances with a pillion in all-day comfort.

The 650GT shares the same 180-degree free-revving powerplant as the NK naked models and the 650MT, producing 41.5kW (55.7hp) at 9500rpm and 62Nm at 7000rpm and fed by Bosch fuel injection. And thanks to the gear-driven counterbalancer, the 650GT is vibe-free all the way up to the 10,500rpm rev limiter.

In keep with its GT virtues, the machine has protective bodywork, a spacious cockpit, 19-litre fuel tank (for a range of well over 300km), power sockets (12V and USB) and an adjustable screen (which allows for 50mm of movement), while there’s a dual-mode TFT dash and optional 32-litre hard panniers.

The 650GT’s modern curves and distinctive headlight design are from KISKA, which is the same European-based styling house used by KTM, while other componentry includes KYB suspension, a tubular steel frame, six-speed transmission, chain final drive and cast-alloy wheels with quality Metzeler Roadtec rubber.

The 650GT’s dry weight is 213kg, while stopping power comes courtesy of Spanish J.Juan calipers integrating with twin-channel Continental anti-lock braking.

The seat height is a low 795mm and it has a compact 1415mm wheelbase  – a major reason why it's such a fun machine on twisty roads.

Like all CFMOTO road bikes, the 650GT now comes with a three-year factory unlimited-kilometre warranty.
